Freeway National Artist Collectors’ Series for Fall 2012 is Levi Celerio

For Fall 2012 Collection, Freeway is back with another National Collectors Series, now on its 7th Installment, honoring its first ever National Artist for Music, Levi Celerio.

Whenever I hear the name Levi Celerio, what comes to my mind is that him being the only man who could play music with a leaf.  Being the leaf player that he was, he was place into the Guinness Book of World Records. And finally on October 9, 1997, he was proclaimed National Artist for Music and Literature. Celerio who wrote more than 4,000 songs convey nationalistic sentiments and utter grand philosophies that we Filipino can be proud of.
