I
grew up eating mostly meat (especially steak), chicken and a few vegetables. It was not
a problem for me as I am not conscious of my figure back then because I feel
that my metabolism is too fast. My mom constantly says that I should eat more
fish and vegetables than meat to stay healthy and eating only meat will cause
me harm. I said, when I get older I will no longer have the luxury of eating
meat as much as I wanted to because my doctor will restrict me. So I continued
eating more meat than vegetables and fish.
Not
until this 2013. I grew big, well not that big but I feel heavy. I had my BMI
and I was so alarmed that at the age of 27, my body’s age is 37! 10 years older
than my real age! Then I started to think.
I
started to read about health and wellness, joined fitness event so that I could
lose weight. I also discuss with my mom that this year I will make it a point
to eat more fish and vegetables. I will gradually eliminate the meat as I think
as of the moment that I can’t live without eating meat. Good news is I may say
that now I have a balanced diet. My mom cooks well and was so supportive of my
quest to eating more fish and vegetable than meat.
Aside from eating healthily, I also take my
food supplement Circulan every day. The last time I took this was last 2007
because of me taking the board exams. It did well to my health back then and I
stopped it since I taught I will not need it anymore. This 2013 I decided to
take it again since I am now prioritizing my health and wellness. I strongly
believe it can aid me in this goal as I have tested Circulan’s tagline –
