My
first out of town this year is at Paradizoo. Located at Mendez, Cavite
Paradizoo is showcasing the “Power of Three”: Floral, Vegetable and Livestock
Festival in celebration of the International Family Farming Year.
Upon
arrival, we first settled at the Paradizoo Café where we get a complementary
coffee and lemon grass iced tea.
Its good to know that Paradizoo observes the 5R: Reuse, Reduce, Recycle, Refuse and Respect.
We
head to the Animal Farm to watch their much anticipated animal show.
A modern
lion dance greeted us.
The animals paraded with their respective care takers. And after that, they also showcased tricks.
You can ride, feed and take pictures with the animals here.
At
the Flower Garden, you can find a wide variety of flowers in full bloom.
At
the Vegetable Garden Lettuces, Basils and Parsley were planted.
You can also
find Mickey Mouse a family of eggplant that is not edible and grows to about
1.5m tall
You
can also find the Bahay Kubo and around it was big fruits and vegetable
displays.
After
exploring and you want to take care of an animal or want to plant, you may head
to Pet Me Home and Plant Me Home where you can buy some.
Or drop by at Discovery Shop for your souvenir needs.
Entrance Fee is at Php149.00. Park Hours is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. A gentle reminder food from outside is not allowed inside the premises and most especially do not tease the animals.
Bring
the whole family and refresh your knowledge about animals, vegetables and
fruits only at Paradizoo. For more information, you may visit www.zoomanity.com.ph or you may call 899-9828 or
