This Father's Day, SM Cinema together with Viva International Pictures brings "Ode to My Father" Korea's highest grossing movie of all time.
Ode to My Father is the story of Deok-Su, an ordinary man, who did everything to keep his promise to his father to protect his family in every way he can. Set in the 1950's during the North Korean war, Deok-Su had to say goodbye to his father during their evacuation and made a promise that whatever happens he will protect the family no matter what. From working to the coal mines of Germany with his best friend Dal-gu and where he found his true love and finally work in Vietnam during the war where he was shot in the leg, Deok-Su survived and kept his promise of protecting and providing for the family amidst of various trials.
The Filipino audience will definitely be touch by this movie. It will made you realize how lucky you are, of what you have right now, not to lose hope no matter what and how important it is to keep ones promise.
