That Europe trip and thoughts in Travelling

Hello! Just got back from my Europe trip. I just want to share my current thoughts.

My planned itinerary went well. Thanks to my well travelled officemate who encourage me to see and explore Europe according to my budget. He offered to help me make my itinerary. After Germany, I went to see France and Switzerland. This Europe trip would not be possible if it pushed through on its original schedule of May. I cannot thank you enough Emman. I honestly was kinda hesitant during the planning stage as I need to consider a lot of factors to proceed on this trip. But I guess Emman was right all along. This happens only once so grab the opportunity.

Maybe it is God's reward to me for all the hard work I have put through over the past 6 years. I wish I have prepared a lot for this trip. I may say, I missed a lot of places.  I have wasted so much time.

These were all new to me. First Gen opened a lot for me, gave me the experience that I never thought I will never experience. First Gen has taught me a lot in a span of one year and seven months in the company, not just with this trip, but I may say, "a lot" that I cannot really share with you at the moment.

Preparing for this trip was a bit hard. I had to juggle work, extracurricular activities and personal matters in between. Resources were limited but friends made it easy. A lot of help, suggestions came in. From places to visit and even clothes to bring. I am very overwhelmed. I am really thankful for all those gestures that I never thought I will receive.

I am not a well-travelled person and my family as well. Maybe that is the reason why I am not into travelling. I just relied on school field trips and company outing for leisure travelling.

Not until December 2009, when my high school friends booked a ticket to Boracay for summer of 2010. This trip made me realise that yes I need to explore the Philippines and travel more. I see to it that every year, I should have one major travel domestically.

I got my first passport in 2010 in the hope of travelling to Hong Kong as promised by our President in my previous company. My colleagues and I be so excited as most of us will be travelling internationally for the first time.

I never dreamed of travelling internationally nor working abroad. I don't know, but I am happy with my life in the Philippines in spite of every challenge that comes my way. But, If I am given the chance to travel outside the country, I prefer to go to Japan. Why? Because I am a big Hello Kitty fan!

In 2014, 7 months before my passport expires, I went to see the Lion City - Singapore. My first international travel went well. I did enjoy it but not as much as I enjoyed Malaysia.

This trip changed me positively. I was very afraid to do this trip that I was able to pull it off and conquered my fear. Travelling solo is a must at least once in your lifetime. You'll discover so much about yourself and it will kinda change your perspective in life.

I am thankful that I decided to do this trip.
